JuXITT — A Movement
Culture Bug
NAME / FACT / TARGET
A bug is not a failure.
A bug is not a shame.
A bug is a fact — honest, owned, named.
Dark Side
The Honest Imperfection
Every bug is a worm in the architecture.
It exists. It has a location. It has a date.
Hiding it is the real bug.
Naming it is the real fix.
A bug owned is a bug half-solved.
Bright Side
The Discovery
Every bug is a contribution.
To the codebase. To the team. To Civilisation.
Named bugs build knowledge.
Tracked bugs build systems.
A living bug log is a living system.
Fact
CULTURE BUG is not a tool.
CULTURE BUG is not a methodology.
CULTURE BUG is a movement.
It starts the moment a developer writes:
# BUG — [Name] — [Location] — [Date]
And means it.
Three Rules
01
Name it. Every bug gets a name. Not "bug in line 42." A real name. A name that describes what it does.
02
Own it. A bug without an owner is a ghost. Put your name on it. It won't bite harder — it will bite less.
03
Date it. Time is the fourth dimension of a bug. When it appeared. When it was solved. The interval is the lesson.
